Hello, I'm Deborah, founder of YouJoyousLife.
I offer calm, gentle rituals and wellbeing practices to support stillness, self-connection and a deeper sense of ease — especially in a world where many of us rarely take time to pause.
My work is rooted in the belief that we need to slow down, listen inwardly, and create space to reconnect with who we really are and to nourish our mind, bodies and spirit.
My work is gentle, supportive and grounding. Each session is held in a calm, restlful space, with respect and care for your nervous system, boundaries and personal comfort.
When you work with me, you will find someone:
- who is welcoming and provides a calm, grounded presence
- sessions that are intuitive and responsive
- a respectful, hands-off approach where appropriate
- space for stillness, reflection and integration
This work is not about fixing you — it’s about creating the space where clarity, balance and connection can naturally return.
Personally, I am a mum, a wife, a daughter, a sister and many other roles. I worked in Corporate IT for over 30 years balancing responsibilities, work and family in a high pressured environment — and I know how easy it is to lose touch with yourself along the way. To forget that you need to take care of yourself.
When I took the opportunity of redundancy, I already knew there was more. I had begun working on myself through meditation, Reiki, the Modern Mystery School and study.
I was fortunate to be able to step away from the Corporate world and create YourJoyousLife as a place for people who sense there is “more to life” - and want to explore that gently, without pressure or expectation.
